Looking for an easy way to put up a web site? Need a standards based template to use for portfolios on educational technology for a class? Here are some free resources that you can use. For educators desiring an "electronic presence," the following templates will guide you in building a website or e-portfolio to suit your needs. For faculty, having a website is an efficient way of sharing professional information with other faculty and students. Teachers and student teachers will both benefit from documenting their professional growth in an e-portfolio. Below you will find two distinct types of templates. The Faculty Website Template is designed to assist faculty in building their own websites. Just download, add your own text, and put up on your own web space. Free as long as you keep the links to the COATT web site at the bottom! The template provides an easy-to-follow format and ready-to-use graphics for presenting pertinent professional information (like courses, research and more) along with useful web links that you would like to share with others. Users may choose to build their website using one of three color options provided below. The Standards Portfolio Template is designed to assist both practicing and student teachers in assembling a body of work demonstrating their proficiencies relative to the to the Michigan Department of Education 7th Standard, and correspondingly, to ISTE/NETS National Standards.
