Collaborative Learning & Teaching
Through Technology (CLT3)
The Western Michigan University's Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology
(PT3) program is part of a university and community wide comprehensive effort
to engage pre-service education students in learning through technology in order
that they will be able to prepare their future K-12 students to meet the demands
for a highly technology-dependent workforce.
A Comprehensive Project-Based Approach to Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers
to use Technology
This PT3 project institutionalizes Michigan State University’s innovative
approach in developing a Design Community - an environment where preservice
teachers, current and future teacher educators, inservice teachers, educational
technology experts, and content area experts work together to explore the
affordances and constraints of modern technologies for supporting powerful
teaching.
Michigan Teacher's Technology Education Network (MITTEN)
Michigan Teachers' Technology Education Network (MITTEN), a PT3 project
at the University of Michigan - Dearborn, creates a networked learning
community dedicated to preparing a cadre of future
teachers
with improved knowledge, skills, and confidence integrating information
technology into the teaching and learning process in meaningful ways.
Teaching to Learn: A Client/Consultant
