Awards Ceremony
27 Teachers Receive MCOATT Award
October 10, 2003
The
Consortium for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching with Technology (COATT)
awarded 27 teachers the Michigan Certificate for Outstanding Achievement
in Teaching with Technology (MCOATT), for demonstration of exemplary
use of technology in the classroom to enhance student learning.
Following a dinner at the COATT ceremony held on October 10, 2003, at
the Lansing Center, Lansing, MI, the COATT award was presented by Reuben
Rubio, President of COATT to the following recipients.

Eric Weber, a spokesperson from Senator Carl Levin's office, was
in attendance and offered congratulations on behalf of the Senator.
Over 55 family, friends and COATT members were also in attendance for
the ceremony.
2003
President's Award for Excellence
On
October 10, 2003, COATT was pleased to confer the 2003 Presidential
Award for Excellence upon The University of Michigan's School of Education,
The University of Michigan - Dearborn's School of Education, and Western
Michigan University's College of Education. The awards were made in
recognition of the success of these institutions' teacher education
students in achieving the MCOATT (Michigan Certificate for Outstanding
Achievement in Teaching with Technology) over the past year.
