MCOATT 2002 Awards Ceremony
August 9, 2002

Following a luncheon at the COATT membership meeting held on August 9, 2002, in Lansing, the MCOATT award certificate was presented to 13 educators by Reuben Rubio, President of the Consortium for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching with Technology (COATT). Lisa Weinstein, a spokesperson from Senator Levin's office, was in attendance and offered congratulations on behalf of the Senator.

Over 45 family, friends and COATT members were in attendance for the ceremony. Winners included Jessica Barth (Saginaw Valley State University), Shannon Carpenter (Michigan State University), Tara Coker (Western Michigan University), Michael Huff (University of Michigan-Dearborn), Cynthia Hodnicki (University of Michigan-Dearborn), Carol Kelel (Oakland University), Monica Nick (Wayne State University), Anne Ottenbreit (Western Michigan University), Lindsay Raben (Western Michigan University), Katherine Reed (Oakland University), Shannon Spykerman-Huff (Albion University), Shelley Williams (Michigan State University) and Helen Wright (University of Michigan in Ann Arbor).
